Jason Armstrong Beck takes photographs and as he likes to say, every once in a while, they take him. His work is held in several private and corporate collections as well as having been exhibited at the Guggenheim, LACMA, Art Basel and various galleries around the world. Over the years his work has appeared in just about every publication and has been used for ad campaigns, countless album covers, book jackets and more. As a photojournalist, Jason's essay STREETJACK was a weekly feature in the Miami Herald for several years; the rights to his observations being recently acquired by Getty. Jason continues work on his much-heralded project, THE IMMORTALS, his ode to New York City, with the exhibition slated for the fall of 2013. Following his short film THE BLUE SUITCASE in support of Sweet Relief and a PSA for the American Cancer Society along with a PSA for the organization To Write Love on Her Arms, Jason is now in pre-production on a series of short films to help raise awareness for Missing Children. Excerpts from THE JOURNAL OF BISON JACK a collection of Jasonís stories and photographs, were recently published in Flatt Magazine with an exhibition scheduled for the spring of 2012. In October of 2012, Jason will have a solo show at the Charles Bank Gallery in New York.
